Your ´e right. I think it´s a shame, how the Watch novels became more and more Vimes centred, while Carrot became basically a non-entity there. The dynamics between Carrot, Vimes and Angua made "Men at Arms", "Feet of Clay", "Jingo" and "The Fifth Elephant" so great for me.
